LOCATION

Located on a hill of Mega Gialos in the southern part of the island, it has a panoramic view of the sea and the neighboring islands of the Cyclades. The advantage of its location is its calm and the possibility of going to the mountain or to the sea, in only 5 minutes on foot. The village’s main beach is 600 meters away and many small coves, more or less hidden from view, can accommodate those who wish to find their secret little corner to sunbathe or for diving lovers who wish to explore the magnificent seabed of the region.

The small whitewashed Agia Marina Chapel behind the hotel offers a pleasant 20-minute walk on the mountain: it is an ideal place for meditation and contemplation.
In the peaceful village of Megas Gialos, you will find a small grocery store near the main beach and a traditional tavern 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The bus stop is 3 minutes walk away, allowing those who have not rented a vehicle to move easily in many parts of the island.

The main city of the island is Ermoupolis, where the port is located, 10 km from Mega Gialos. Daily crossing times are established from the port of Piraeus to Syros (crossing time between 2h30 and 4 hours, depending on the ferry) as well as to other neighboring islands such as Mykonos, Tinos and Paros.

Syros airport is 9 km from the hotel and hosts daily flights from Athens’ Eleftherios Venizelos airport. Many choose to access via Mykonos airport, which also receives international flights from Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, Mulhouse, Lyon, Geneva, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Larnaca and Istanbul. The Mykonos – Syros crossing takes about 1 hour and operates every day.
